Lord Jesus, To Me You Are: - Poem by Royston Allen

The Altogether Lovely One
and the Fairest of the fair
The King of kings and Lord of lords
to Whom no one can compare.

You’re Majestic in Your splendour
and yet still the sinners Friend.
The Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End.

You’re The Saviour of the World;
and the Lord Our Righteousness.
The Way the Truth and the Life
in You the Fullness of God is manifest

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Psalm 45: 1-2 - 1 My heart is stirred by a noble theme
as I recite my verses for the king;
my tongue is the pen of a skilful writer.
2 You are the most excellent of men
and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you for ever
