Losing Shine Poem by George Samuel

Losing Shine

Too tall to stand,
Come down giant, use your hands,
And crawl away from your dark,
There it blind your spark,
Mock you, While you cry and bark.

When your shine fails,
Remember, Life is from the tail
But when it's left behind,
Then what's is left goes blind,
To languish in the darkness of its kind.

No stronghold root,
Is found before a violent storm,
It blows with a crushing air,
And make the falling stir,
So wide at a force they cannot see

Down we all go,
Beneath the sun show,
The star see our end,
Passing without a friend,
We lost all, trying years to impress
