today i write this poem to say goodbye to you
I can't believe you left me, in pain and feeling blue.
god asked if he could borrow you, and take you out of site
I wait in pain and anger until the day we reunite.
my eyes will fill with tears, my heart will bleed in pain
until the day i hear your voice, once again call my name.
I know your watching over me, and every move i make.
but the pain of watching you leave me, was just to much to take.
I know they say your mother, is your closest ever mate
and i know you will be again, when we meet at heavens gate.
thank you for looking after me, for all them wonderful years
we've had so many laughs, and shared so many tears.
I will not think of bad, but all the good we shared
Its only now i realise, just how much you really cared.
