Loss Of Vortical Emotion Poem by David Corman

Loss Of Vortical Emotion

Inside me, there's a deep need of you.

Most don't see it.

In life, I'm becoming nothing.

Save for the moments I'm thinking of you.

Simple simpletons see nothing.

Yearning for you, I wish to fly.

Occupying this bag of bones is nothing but my love for you.

Unwound tendons of me need you.

Sweeter sounds I've not heard since I heard your voice.

Omnipotent is this love for you.

Mendacity, leave me, please.

Understand my plight.

Can you let me entrance you again?

How can I live after knowing something so grasping?

Instead of seeking, I wait.

Living without you is living without the person I need.

Outside, my cracks are cracking.

Visit me once more.

Enrapture me.

You're so different.

Oceans of this fill me.

Unstable understates this.

Sleeping brings no relief.

Only you know the secrets of my happiness.

My mind tries so hard to trick my heart.

Until you know, I am forever trapped.

Chase me to the end.

How I'll hold you in the end.
