Lost - Poem by Lynzi Berner

My scream is lost
in all that you don't say
Silence deafens me
The wind
blows through
the withered tree branches
in an old and forgotten cemetary
Searching...
for the one lone leaf
holding on for dear life

Hold your breath
count to 10
open your eyes
