Lost Poem by Michael Saurer

Lost

Lost in a place
I don’t belong
Lost in some space
That seems so wrong

I don’t sleep
I don’t eat
I just fight
Am I right?
Does my heart beat?
Am I a lost sheep?

Questions without answers
Still everything seems right
I miss this smile of hers
Her name’s my only guide

Lost in myself
Hope is my shield
Lost in her self
Is this my guilt?

I don’t hate
I just love
I truly miss
Her holy kiss
I don’t laugh
About any charade

What should I do?
Who do I go to?
Not responded love
Is that why my heart cries?
Is it like some hurt dove
That can’t fly, but still tries?

Lost in hell
I can tell
Lost in a dream
Do you hear me scream?
Lost in some dope
That’s also called hope
