Lost - Poem by Cory Caudill

As i sit here once again like so many times before pondering the meaning of life I realized something.

I realized that there is no real meaning to life we all just float through life like clouds in the sky.

We can either choose to go against the wind or just let it sweep us away into the darkness.

I feel as if i have been swept into the darkness and dont know how to get to the place I wanna be at.

I feel like a traveler lost on his journey, on the way through somewhere he lost sight and lost hope of reaching his destination.

So he just wanders from place to place trying to find the thing he seeks.

I have had people tell me they would be the ones to pull me from this dark place of despair and pain but they just pushed me further in still looking for an escape from this nightmare.

Will anyone ever pull me back in? As of right now it doesnt look like it but only time will tell.
