Lost Poem by Michael Chau

Lost

I am lost in the shadows of the world.
All by myself in the deep, deep cold.
The only thing I see is a tiny door.
If I open it, I won't be cold anymore.
But when I opened the door, all I see,
Was the silence and a huge bushy tree.
It was awkward for the tree to be right there.
Yet I see no person anywhere.
All I see was more darkness beyond.
Something must have gne horribly wrong.
Lost again in the shadows of the world.
Still by myself in the deep, deep cold.
Nothing to do and no one to talk.
The only thing left to do is just walk.
I walk for miles through the dark of the night.
And there is really nothing in sight.
Startled I wake up and it apparently seems.
That it was all just a dream.
I looked out the window and there I could see.
The same giant bushy tree right in front of me.
