Lost And Found Poem by Jon Evans

Lost And Found

I go out searching
For what I have lost
When I find what is missing
This maze gets bigger
I find this death
I look with my cold eyes
And you die!

What do I do – where do I go – is it me – or is it you – is it me – or is it them – is it me – or shall I go into a…eternal rest?

I retrieve what I set out for
I lost what I set out with
I have no hope
I have no despair
I look with my cold eyes
And you die!

What do I do – where do I go – is it me – or is it you – is it me – or is it them – is it me – or shall I go into a…eternal rest?

I say what I think….

I say what I know….

What do I get in return….

A cold look….

A sound of hatred….

And, inn my mind I wonder…

Why! Won’t you die?
