Lost And Lost Poem by TITIKSHA SINGHAL

Lost And Lost

Rating: 4.5

Red nose, chapped lips,
Aching legs, wet cheeks,
Broken heart, burning throat,
Tearful eyes, till cockcrow.
Pain of loss, days in shame,
Congested lungs, stiffened brain,
Wet brow, sweating hair,
Disastrous agony filled in air.
Past is all that flash in present
Careless future, getting senescent,
Screaming silence, silent fret,
All is dead, except death itself.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Very definite use of adjectives, I'd give you that. Laconic style always attracts me...it's so deep and intense that it evokes the meaning of the poem in readers head. It's surely one of them. Good irony used, 'Screaming silence'. Makes the poem more beautiful. Death never dies...exactly! Last line is a whole sum up! grammar corection, 'Past is all that flashes in the present' I enjoyed reading ur words. Keep it up.
