Lost Childhood Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Lost Childhood

pitter patter
pitter patter
she comes running along

pitter patter
pitter patter
yelling mom!

Screaming
and laughing
as daddy chases her

grabbed
around the waist
he tickles her

Open my eyes
the world is gray
lost in a daydream.

again.
