Lost For Words Poem by Jo Lynn Ehnes

Lost For Words

The words escape my joyous mind;
this love I feel I can't define.
It snuck up quickly from behind,
without forewarning or a sign.

Your warmth arrived one special night
amidst my wish upon a star.
The brilliance which illumes your light
entranced me from your home afar.

Your spirit asked my soul to dance
within a realm where distance dies.
Enamored by your heart's romance,
you led me through devotion's skies.

A kindred bond emerged in flight,
transcending both this place and time.
Though veiled by miles, away from sight,
you'll view my smile in songs of rhyme.

Entrusting God to lead the way
we'll journey down this path we share
and patiently await the day
we'll touch while in a sapphire stare.
