Lost In A Desert's Burning Sands Poem by Mohammad Younus

Lost In A Desert's Burning Sands

Lost in a desert's burning sands,
Following camels' faint trail,
I search for glimpses of green vales,
To watch their endless, graceful falls.
Where the waterfall's roar, loud and clear,
Echoes through the river's cheer.
While its notes drown all other sounds,
As nature's music swells around.

As I approach this valley of beauty,
My eyes take in each color's smile—
Green and brown, and waters blue,
A sight revealed to but a few.
Nearby, colonies of bees abound;
To their rhythm, I am drawn.
Their dance, a song of joy and flight,
In melodies pure and bright.

A gentle hum fills the air,
A harmony that's everywhere.
I watch them kiss each wildflower,
Until the sky fades to twilight's hour.
And as they fly home to their hives,
I wonder when my own soul arrives,
Returning, too, to its ancient hive.
