Lost In The Endless Dark - Poem by Alexander Romanov

My mind is distracted and confused
I feel misplaced, misunderstood, refused
I seek love but I find hate
I live a miserable life, cursed by fate
Love is indeed the funeral of hearts
It rips our souls out, tearing us into million parts
Suddenly, I feel that I am slipping away
Turning transparent, seeing my life not in colors, but in shades of gray
Bloody tears crawl down my cheeks blinding my eyes
Out of love I am, in the depths of hell and in heavenly skies
Choking in blood, I lie on the cold stones begging for death
Slowly bleeding my life away in a world that’s blind and deaf
I remember looking into your beautiful face
It is like when love and death embrace
They meet together and become on
And dissolve slowly in the rays of the forsaken sun
