Lost It All Poem by Cassandra Hooper

Lost It All

Rating: 4.0

Do you hear the sound
Of my barely beating heart
Or of me hitting the ground
Of me being torn apart
With such pain and sorrow
Such heavy grief
There's no chance for tomorrow
There's no chance for relief
From all this horror
All this death
Until the day
We all take our last breath
And you act like its fine
Like we're all meant to fall
But not everyone is meant
To lose it all
All your hope
All self control
Your love for life
Your only soul....
