Lost Love Poem by Alex Retzlaff

Lost Love

No one knows about true love.
Or the touch of a turtle dove.
No one feels the same pain
In the same domain.

No one can feel the same soft feeling whispering in my ear
No one feels the tear rolling down my face.
The touch and embrace.
As easy as tying a shoelace.

No one can cohere the cold heart.
And how tart and sour love can be.
People may conceive love the wrong way.
What people may say is
Different from actualization, dramatization, and the true information.

It feels like a twisted hurricane
A mentally disabled membrane.
No one feels the loss of love
Or the loss of that angel's turtle dove.
