Lost Love
Heart or mind, which path to take?
My heart, a captive, for your love it aches.
I chose you, but your heart belonged elsewhere,
My love for you, now lost in despair.
My heart begs, return and love me anew,
But my mind insists, forget and find a love that's true.
Was I the victim of some cruel design?
A stepping stone on your way to a love that wasn't mine.
