Lost Virtue - Poem by Korey Mcgee
Love is the reflection of one's soul, an expression, that cannot be controlled..
So behold, because I was once told, that the secret of Love, can be seen in the beauty of a dove..
Elegant and Pure, yet not always clear, it spreads its wings, to reveal a sight once unseen..
Love is the gentle breeze from an open ocean, a sort of magical potion..
Love is the reason we must all unite, stand up and fight, reveal the light, vanquish the night and we just might, learn the insight, to attempt to rewrite - our fates, shed the weights, and discover the traits - of Love, rise above..
The old ways, was just a phase, let's exit the maze..learn to gaze and you will be amazed..let me rephrase..
Love will eventually bring you to your knee, but at this moment, you will have never felt so free..
Like climbing Mt. Everest, it is a test, call it a quest, so get good rest..
The sword of Truth penetrates all, like an unexpected heavy spring rainfall..
Like a flowers ability to bloom, Truth has been apart of us since the womb..
Truth is the reason, nature created the cycle of season..
Change is ever present, and Truth stands out like the lit crescent..
Yet still some choose to ignore, the reason for war, the cause of our downpour..
Truth is our mentor, and like a lion's roar, Truth can penetrate man's core..
