Laying back reminiscing the days on how the boot was a place I called home
Which still is bloody home in my heart.
Oh thy Louisiana the Brown Pelican state that makes my heart sorrow
Like it's no tomorrowLouisiana is the state that Iwas born.
It birthed me to be who I am today a young man who knows his Louisiana roots.
I may be Texas raised but by blood I'm Louisiana made by heart.
Oh thy Louisiana that is on my mind.
When I think of Ponchatoula I think of a beautiful Angel like my deceased Grandma Aline.
When I cry of memories and the person who raised me from 2 to 14 I think of a Legend a hero my real father my Uncle Clarence rest in peace.
Also when I'm bless and grateful I think of having such a precious beautiful caring Mother that means the world as much I mean to her.She is what I call Miss Louisiana because I get her roots and heritage from her.
I think of a wonderful family
My cousins
My Aunties
People that is willing to die with loyalty in the state of Louisiana.
985 is where I represent and bloody love for.
Everything I have is from the boot
I'll be a fool if I didn't imagine how bless I am to be from here.
The food is what I am thankful for the pleasing Cajun food, the gumbo the seafood the crawfish and the alligators.
They may say the 318 is a Cruel State
They may saythe 504 is the Murder Capital
They may say the 225 is the Ratchet City in Baton Rouge
Yet in Reality its where legends are born.
From Poverty to Wealth
From Nobodies to Rappers
From Thugs to A Somebody
I'll never hate my kinfolks
Cause blood is thicker than everything that tries to break each of you apart.
1997 is the year a Prince like me in North Oaks hospital was born to be free and a Saint.
I wouldn't be in this existing world if it wasn't for 985.
Oh thy Louisiana that I spend most of my days playing ball with my kinfolks.
Oh thy Louisiana that I remember the days of jumping on trampoline in a country backyard with my bloody kinfolk cousins.
Today I live as a Louisiana born and made
Today I live as person who is gladly from the boot.
Tomorrow I fall as a Louisiana native
Tomorrow I have Louisiana on my mind with memories to come.
