Reminds me of
My friend walking with me along the beach
With us both sharing about our lives together.
The smiles from my children when they see I am feeling down.
My cat curled up by me as I am sleeping.
A phone call from a friend when I really needed a friend.
Surprise packages on my porch from a dear friend, too.
That pat on the back saying you have done a great job.
The laughter shared between family and friends.
The Power that helps us to stay strong in tough times.
Love is not just lovers on a moonlit night,
It can be that,
But it is so much more.
Like friends and family members
Being there for one another
Day or night.
And when you think of loved ones
You feel warm joy in your heart
And to me
That is love.
