Love is something that seems simple
But it is very complex
Why do only some people experience it
While others are made fun of for wanting it

Love can be the most pleasurable thing in your life
It can also be the most painful heartbreak, too
Many people have much success
While others fail

When someone has had their broken
They guard it
Never to be touched again
For fear that someone else may break it

Some people think that they may never feel love
They feel as though no one loves them
They go on everyday
Wondering if love will ever knock on their door

People who make fun of those
Who have never experienced love
Just tear a person’s heart apart
For they think that no one will ever love them

Why should love be so complex?
Why can’t we all experience it?
Why does it have to be a wonderful feeling
And then leave the most horrible heartbreak ever?

Love is just something that reminds me
Of what other people see me as
A loner, someone that nobody loves
And one that has never experienced love
