Love has a meaning
though many people cannot see it
it brings happiness, sadness, joy and tears
i know this now
because you are here,
before this, i did not know.
and now you're here i do not want to let you go,
you are my voice of reason
you make me see sense
and i cannot cannot stand it
when the atmosphere is tense
you make me laugh
you make me cry
and when you are not with me
i want to curl up and die
you seem to be there for me
and calm me down
when times get tough
you wont let me frown.
so thank you for being there,
and making me smile.
you let people walk over you
i do not like it when you down
but the times have brought me to you.
although i do not show it,
i love you very much,
you have have helped me understand
what it is to touch
someone's heart with yours alone.
and i am yours forever more.
