Love Poem by Elizabeth Syozitaro

Love

Unseen to the one who clings to materials,
A need overlooked and underestimated by fools.
The power of peace,
And the power of war.
Humans live for it,
Or die because of it.
The desire to be accepted,
In an unacceptable world.
It is like the air, we forget we need it,
Until we have no more.
Unseen, but still there.
A beacon of light for those who are lost.

Like air we need love,
For without love there is no hope for mankind.
