What is loves definition?
let me share my conviction.

If love is based in their smile
or their personality has us beguiled.

our appreciation will fade with each taste
And day after day we'd rather it just go to waste

to keep consuming we have to inject anesthesia
because we love people like we love pizza

Let's set the record straight and in order
if love contains self, that's disorder.

to love someone for attributes is absurd,
because love, love is a verb

it means to always be patient
and in kindness to never become complacent

It promises that regardless of attributes or wealth
that we will never place first, self.

any compromise will not suffice
love is a covenant of self sacrifice
