Love Poem by Emanuel Jones

Love

Crack,
Cocaine, Dope, Heroin, Alcohol/
Ne-thing that'll take you away,
See I belieave she LOVEs' me,
I belieave shes' loved me since I left her,

Comming with this glare that would part a thousand skies,
Tears that could cut diamonds,
A scream that melts her heart,
See I belieave shes' loved me since my first utter(if she was there) ,

But even though she ain't been much of a mother,
I still love her as such,
I still respect her as such,
Even though she left me to be a man,
In pursuit of a LOVE that I couldn't give her,

I still answer every sentence with Ma'am,

See I still curse my soul,
For being too young and not old enough,
To know,
That it wasn't me who didn't make her happy,

'Cause see Mona Lisa Mackey,
Needed LOVE that day,
Needed something that would go strait to her soul,
Through her roots by way of her viens,
Or nose,
Or how ever she felt like being loved,

That day,

But see that same LOVE landed my beautiful mother in the penitentary,
Yeah that same LOVE left a BaBy Girl dead,
And sometimes I wish I could trade places,
Just so she could get a chance to taste,
Sweet Seedless Watermelon,
Or Grandmas' Peanut Butter and Mayo sandwiches,

But the other half says no,
It's better for her to go than know,
Her LOVE ain't good enough,

Many nights I cry,
Wishing I could ask her what happened,

That day,

What was she thinking,
In fear her only excuse,
Will smply be...
'I Was in LOVE.'

Crack! ! !
Cocaine, Dope, Heroin, Alcohol,
Ne-thing that'll take you away,

See I belieave she LOVEs' me...
Just not as much as you.

DEDICATED TO MY LOST SISTER, WHO DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO FEEL LOVE! ! !
RIP
1 LUV
