Venny Poem by Emanuel Jones

Venny

I hear your voice in my poetry,
Going through withdrawals,
See you was like dope to me,
You made me high,
Wishing my Diamond in The Rough would just Float with me,
You made me Cry,
Unconsciously instilled hope in me,
You made me try,
Don’t tell me I’m falling in LOVE,
You made me lie,
Presence: elegant like a dove,
You made me fly,
Hugs just because,
You made me sigh,
Realize my bed so rough,
You made me lie,
Sea’s between us but I don’t give a f***,
You could be my…huh,
But words won’t ever be enough,
Long Live Love,
Don’t make me die…
