Love Abounds © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Love Abounds ©

Fair Mariegold, she glittered bright,
as Sunshine beamed upon her face;
His kisses filled her with delight,
She danced in joy with sunlit grace.

As Rain carressed the Willow tree
she whispered rustling sweet and low
Her limbs she raised, wild and free
that loving showers would overflow..

Sea reached for shore in sweet embrace,
to hold her in an ancient dance;
Their ebb and flow was filled with grace
a wild and mystical romance.

Love abounds but everywhere;
if only we make time to care.
