Love And Desire. Poem by Blessing Ekpe

Love And Desire.

I felt am floating away.
I could die but dead has being conquered,
His teeth broken and destroyed.
But all it will take now to save me, ground me,
Is to feel your hands on my thigh.
Touch me, acknowledge me but she doesn't
she doesn't move, she doesn't glance.
i tried, yes i tried,
like the sun burn down my soft skin,
yet necessary for my existence.
You became the center of my world.
And every of my heart beats just for you,
But sad it is, you seem not to feel the same.
How can i love you,
When you traded yourself in for me?
