Love And Its Destiny By Ray Subrata - Poem by Subrata Ray
Body’s desires get connected with the mind,
Some clouded imaginations, shelter therein find,
The central point of the parents union,
With growing ages, create situations.
Cyclic –order Nature demands to revive,
Either in ‘Red-light’, or, between man and wife.
Creation’s device and its seed,
In all species are pre occupied.
Dumb instincts respond to opposite ions,
To create one from two’s reactions.
And then there comes the Nature’s calf,
Man and woman glorify it, as their love.
In apparent comedy,
This love is tragedy,
For, the blind passion takes passion over the body and the soul,
Spoil the body, sullen the mind, and make oblivious of the goal
Sufferings often lead to reflection
Of the nothingness of life’s motion,
Higher imagination leads to discriminate,
God’s test, and the treachery of Fate.
The mundane pilgrimage, gets wasted by slaving desire,
The soul’s wick was ready, but we forget, to ignite it with fire.
