Why's this gun to my head, I said


I need a break from today

My life feels like it's coming to an end

Need to just look up at the sky again

Can't sleep at night, I said

Feeling like I'm undead. I said

My days I dread, I said

Hold my hand tight, she said


I need a break from today

My life feels like it's coming to an end

Everything will be alright, she said

Let me hold you through the night, she said

I know how you feel babe, she said

I put the gun down and held her instead


I found my break from today

My life's looking better from this point

The sun shines finally shining again

My life just began today
