Love And The Rosebud Poem by Joseph Blitch

Love And The Rosebud

Rush and be in a big hurry; We must never;
We may think it so; but it's not real clever;
For we may well run past our guardian angel;
Finding out just how very much life is fragile;

With patience; we find all is in God's hand;
With faith on this preeminence we all stand;
For our life; God has His plan and His will;
Knowing this; we should wait and be still;

Finding doors closed; wait for God's opening;
Meditate on His word; praying and hoping;
For his word is sharp like a two edged knife;
Cutting away all facades of evil from our life;

Knowing that all of life's storms shall be past;
The master potter molds the clay forever to last;
Gaining wisdom as through this earth we trod;
In patience we must not force the hand of God;

Throughout life we should endure all with love;
Keeping psyche open for guidance from above;
God's unfolding as with the rosebud is sweet;
Within his hand and timing love can't be beat!
Tag: Love is like the unfolding of a rose bud in that it cannot be forced open. But only with time and the hand of God will it open and its fragrant beauty shared.
