Love At First Sight Poem by Ali Ashjaee

Love At First Sight

Once upon a time
While John was walking with rhyme
His eyes went through a window
In which there was a kiddo
Shining like the moonlight
Late through the midnight

Then his heart went crazy
John was neither tired nor lazy
Mm yeah you are right
He’s fallen in love at first sight

So he rushed to see that lady
He was so mad to taste the candy
That didn’t see the cars
Passing through the lines
Oh John, poor little guy
Didn’t see that yellow car
Huh, what a pity!
John’s gone for the kitty

Wow thanks mighty God
He moved his bod
He opened his left Eye
Saw a crowd all saying Hi!
Then as his eyes were passing
Surprised faces
He suddenly caught a glimpse
Of his princess

Whose hair was blonde
And eyes blue
With a white dress swaying
As winds grew
Making him more passionate
And carried away
He knew that it wasn’t the time
To have delay

So in a flash John dashed
He forgot he was bashed
Then jumped toward the bunny
Said, ‘‘honey, will you marry Johny? ’’

At the moment the girl went blank
She thought by the hit he’s gone crank
So she cast a smile with pity
And immediately disappeared
But poor John misunderstood it
As if he was endeared…
