Love child –
Born out of wedlock,
Child of mixed race,
Beautiful.

Loved child –
Cuddled you gently,
Loved you intensely,
Scrap of me.

Wanted child –
Wanted to keep you,
Nurture and raise you,
Not to be.

Surrendered child –
Others who want you
Take you and keep you.
You’re theirs now.

Reborn child –
Once more I hold you,
Tell you I loved you,
Never too late.

Love child –
I’ll never forget you,
Never regret you, but
You’re yours now.
