Emotion flow down my cheeks in dew
When, for once in my life I knew
The outcome I would not like
Is piercing through my heart like an iron spike
The voice over the phone made my heart skip a beat,
Because I knew that when we again meet
You will walk across a rose scattered aisle
To the man that you will go with that extra mile.
Missing you came so easy to me
When with you I sometimes be
And still felt like you were miles apart
From my mind and my screaming heart
Love is a strange thing to speak
When your soul with emotions are so weak
Love is a hard thing to explain
When your ears are turned to me in vain
Declarations of love seemed so everyday
When I tried just to find the way
To make you fully understand;
All I want is for you to take my hand
