Love Crash Poem by Alexander Foald

Love Crash

Upon watching the falling leaves twisted by the wind
Our eyes met for the first time in the hands of destiny
It was an unexpected coincidence out of a moment
Bound to be remembered, however, for an eternity

A love at first sight, of she who made my heart beat fast
No name to give credit for, just a beauty that would last
Filled my mind with strange dreams, each and every night
Made me crazy over her smile, like a blinding light

However,

Unknown to her, my feelings grew like a maple tree
Unfortunate to me, she never knew what it meant to be
Living out of blue, driven by desire to love someone
Like the falling leaves, twisted and toyed around,
I failed to make it true, this impossible dream of mine
