Love Don't Hurt, And It Can't Kill You Because It Loves You Poem by Xavier Thomas

Love Don't Hurt, And It Can't Kill You Because It Loves You

I look away cause you a crime scene
I see the devil done murdered another child crying
I see you pulling yourself apart
To be whole
I see you throwing away wisdom
To find hope
And cope with a world trying to be woke
Sleeping on mercy and on the heavenly vision
Soon comes the valley of decision
I'm preaching repentance to the lost for a chance to repent of the lots they cast and the fast that wasn't the Lord's
I can't afford to stay quiet
I dont need another diet
Cause I'm fat
I need to eat more so I can relax in Jesus
Living bread for the people
The hills get steeper and steeper
But Jesus just nestles me deeper and deeper
Saying child I'm yours so wear a smile
I took you a mile in my shoes
Why don't you wait a while?
I'll come again and the heavens shall descend upon you
So shall you ever be with me
In this two legged race of grace and mercy, all days of your life
Selah
