Love/Hate Poem by scott ghering

Love/Hate

The sun peaks and the glare mirrors the fury radiating in the eyes. Standing opposite, the memories of young hearts diminishing and ripening through the years. Bodies growing old, but, the passion blooming. Ruminations distort and ripple as obstacles of life emerge. The warm hugs nourish the needs. Intimacy smokes when fires ignite. As they close their eyes, the promise of love secures the dreams for another night.
