Love Hurts - Poem by Rachel Critchell
God how I ache!
How many hours will it take
Until I see your face?
No more time or space
Between us.
I've been pacing the floor
And I can't take any more
I am aching inside
And I don't want to hide
How I feel about you.
Mind, body and soul
Want you as a whole
All that you are and can be
Darling, please let me see
Because I want you.
There's a pain in my head
Every night while in bed
An ache in my heart
Because I want to start
My life with you.
