Love In Abstract Poem by Alison Mary Dunn

Love In Abstract

Rating: 5.0

Eyes took what they think they saw
as being strange, or what was heard
explained in theory, by other viewers
Squinting to fathom what it meant
Trying to reveal the content
Of the spark that drew us

Never obvious or plain and not
an easy piece to follow
Our love in abstract blend
Will never tell the truth in plain
These codes forever reign
remaining locked away in us

The mysteries of love conveyed with such eloquence. A beautiful poem. S :)
