I owe sincere apologies to myself
I ought to love her more, put her first
But I had forgone her, put her on a shelf
Watering others while she was in thirst.
But when you came into my life I changed
The depth of your sweet love awakened my soul
The inner beauty you saw in me was strange
At first, yet with time I saw myself whole.
Your love, sweet love, gives me a life within a life
My heart blossoms, I smile, do things worthwhile
All my strength I pour from you, and I thrive
On a blessed sunny day, we'll walk down the aisle.
When souls meet, their stars in the sky twinkle
The universe sees, love in the air is sprinkled.
