Love In The Blues Poem by George Samuel

Love In The Blues

With love in her eyes,
She sings for me,
With tears of joy,
Cry for me,
Make me feel like a boy,
Be my toy.

Remember when the skies were blue,
That day when I paid your dues,
Before the world, you offered me the sweetest palm wine,
And my eyes watched you whine,
It was our honeymoon we dine,

Even after all these trying years,
I can't forget when you said yes,
All the memories stays fresh,
Because love has always been our wish,
It grows stronger with joy unleashed.

No one can tell when we fight,
Because it only brings our best to light,
The smiles like we own everything in the world,
But this destiny, it can only be from the Lord.
