Love Is.... - Poem by Linda Harnett

Is just a feeling,
Triggered somewhere,
Deep inside,
An instant recognition,
That has no place,
To hide,
It’s a feeling that,
You want to keep,
In your soul,
Yet shout it,
From the rooftops,
For its’ surely,
Made you whole,
Love’s happy,
In seclusion,
In a crowd,
A thought conveyed,
In silence,
Reciprocated, loud.
A look, a touch,
A gentle smile,
On a phone,
You’ll know love,
When you find it,
For it feels like,
Coming home.
