Love is an understatement
of what I have for you.
It’s a shame the word is so extreme
Because what we have is
Miles past it.
Yes, let the skeptics doubt
and the nay-sayers laugh.
We’ll laugh ourselves.
We know what they don’t.
Their stubbornness is quite funny.
So let them doubt.
I don’t mind.
As long as I can kiss and hold you,
I don’t have a care in the world.
