Love can be power,
Love can be strong.
It can come as a whisper,
Like the words in a song.

It can come in a rage,
Like the winds of a storm.
Or as a blanket
to keep you warm.

It speaks to you gently,
or sometimes it screams.
It can give you hope
for all of your dreams.

Its rival-deception,
hatred, and spite.
Comes with a vengance
with all of its might.

Tearing away hearts
that sought after truth.
Sadly it is
the downfall of youth.

But forgiveness steps in
to offer a plea.
For we are but human,
and that is the key.

Find peace from within,
guiding the way
To life, love, and happiness
all of your days.
