Love Is Like Binoculars

Love is like binoculars
Love brings 'far away' to us
helps us see her really close
helps to pinpoint who she is
one bad thing to field glasses:
one wrong move-she's lost to you
you can scan the thickets hard
you won't find her easily
searching, scanning: Alzheimer's.

You WERE listening in chapel, weren't you? ! I like this coupled-poem stuff, it comes across really well.... plus, there's a lot of experienced truth here that I think we're beginning to understand-way to break it down in words; it's very powerful.
