Love Isn’t Forever Poem by Melissa Koeman

Love Isn’t Forever

Maybe I could just pretend that you love me
You come walking by
My eyes follow you
Desperately I’m trying to reach you
Trying to get your attention
Oh god: why do I need you to love me?
Why are you my angel?
Why are you my hero?
Why do I adore you?
I’m still mad about you
But love isn’t forever
