Love, Just Last Poem by ANJALI KAKATI

Love, Just Last

Love,
Just last,
I want “us” to last in love.

Love,
Whence, I neither live nor die.
Oh,
oh I fly high
So high.
Days are fine,
But,
In the nights
In wait,
Of loneliness
I die.
Yes,
Everynight
I die.

Love,
Just last,
I want “us” to last in love.

Love,
Revelling in the
Moments of magic glory
Wherein,
with your smile I smile,
with your thoughts I think
and
stolen from the world
your heart beats in mine.
I live a thousand lives
Nurtured,
Fulfilled
And
Divine.

Love,
Just last,
I want “us” to last in love.

Love.
We are riding high on dreams.
I know,
Love degenerates,
Disintegrates
With the waves of reality
Real time.
I don’t want to hurt
Or be there to see you hurt.
Clutching hearts
Broken by real time.
But,
I just want you to know
I will go on sleeping
Forever
Just be there
My wonderful dream,
My love.

Love,
Just last,
I want “us” to last in love.
