love i once had
for you my friend
but i can't put
my life on hold
for someone
who only has
a fleeing fancy
for my company
but not my love
never that
i tried not to listen
to your lies
but found
i could not stop
myself from
listening to what
i wanted to hear
i will not any longer
waist my time
and my love
on someone
who can't return it
