Love Me Once Poem by Soumen Chattopadhyay

Love Me Once

This time, return me in the primordial darkness
In sincere need, love me once
In too late hour, I bloomed at cornice
Remained exiled in the black room of the city

My hungry soul
Looking at my mysterious decay
My feelings get mixed in the wave of night
The disrupted song of the earth flows inside me

Every day, I sense
The highway inside the bone
Is smeared with the shadow of dole

Give a loving touch
Spread out, in the forest; will be hooked to the core of the soil
Remained exiled
Bloomed at cornice

Being a bird, I'll fly away in the wave of night
If you love me once
Being ear of pregnant corn; will be leaning as modest

Leaving all, I'll go to the country of dissolution
Before that, please hold my hands
In sincere need and love me
Please, Only once...
