Love of my life,
The shadows that hide me
They help to leave my
Past behind me,
They do not hurt,
They do not judge,
Instead they hold me
With gentle embrace
As they hold my trust,
Never leaving my side
Forever will they hold,
My cold shadowed heart
Unlike those who play it
As though a harp.
